My #1 Weight Loss Advice

In the sea of what you need to do for your health there is 1 thing that continues to reign supreme.

In all the studies, bloodwork, and more - losing weight is a key factor to feeling good now and your long term health.

(obviously to those people who do not need to lose weight this is an exception)

Weight loss is correlated with a multitude of health outcomes and changes for the positive in bloodwork. Not to mention - you just feel better, are happier with your body, can do more - when you lose the weight you want to lose.

In this sea of health advice and ideas though there are too many pieces to what is the best way to lose weight.

Eat less, move more is the most common saying.

And it is costing so many of you from seeing real success.

It’s true - far too often I have people talk to me and say “I tried to walk more and I cut out all the sugar but nothing happened”

Or “I tried and just couldn’t do it, I need you to hold me accountable”

Well… the accountability can only go so far, and your metabolism can only do so much work. The eat less move more approach is clearly effective but…

ONLY AFTER your metabolism and body are prepped to see real success when you apply it!

This is especially important for women in peri/menopause and guys who have tried dieting off and on for half their lives.

Your metabolism just doesn’t work how it used to, but there is good news and this is my #1 piece of advice for losing weight.

You can speed everything up.

Doing this is actually fairly easy however it requires you to break the typical norms of what a weight loss program may be. 9/10 of my clients go thru this same protocol.

The goal is to eat more, create consistency in the diet, signal to the body that it has the fuel it needs to function well, then signal to the body that it needs to start using that fuel for things that are productive like muscle instead of storing the fuel (as fat).

This is an oversimplification so I hope you at least get the idea. An example, I had a client who had struggled with their weight for years post hysterectomy. In their 50s it now felt impossible to get the weight off especially around their midsection.

They weren’t undereating when they came to me but their food was all over the place and they had dieted off and on since they were 20! We started by regulating their calories, then slowly increasing them, then adding muscle building signals with training, increased protein, healthy carbs, and swapped the fats around, increased antioxidant consumption all the way until she was eating 1800 calories a day and not gaining weight.

After previously eating 1100 a day and gaining weight. Pretty insane right? This is called metabolic adaptation and it is my specialty on what I help clients with. Creating a stronger metabolism than they’ve ever had so weight loss feels simple.

I want you to learn how to do this as well - that is why I recorded a full YouTube video over it with more detail.

I would love to know so I can try and help you out - do you feel like you are in this clients shoes? Eating too little, struggling with weight, frustrated that nothing seems to work? Let me know if this is your struggle by responding to this email with a “ME” and I will give you some advice over email.

Remember, I am here to help you!

Best,

Tyler
